How does plant identification work?

Take or upload a photo and the app suggests the most likely species — always from its curated care catalog, shown as candidates for you to confirm rather than a single guess. If the result looks wrong, retake the photo from a different angle or report the result from within the app.

Is the care advice always correct?

Care advice is grounded in a curated species database and your plant's own history — but automated guidance can still make mistakes. Never rely on it to decide whether a plant is safe to eat or touch. For valuable or ailing plants, consult a local nursery or extension service.

Why does the app ask for camera and photo access?

Only to identify plants and diagnose problems from photos you choose to submit. You can decline access in iOS Settings; the rest of the app still works.

How do I delete my data?
